Recent Deaths

Con Cremin, Meeleen, Knockraha whose funeral took place on Wednesday. Our sympathy and prayers to his mother Eileen, his sisters Marguerite, Annette, Rose, Elma, Mary and Sheila, his extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Glounthaune area Station Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Glounthaune on Wednesday morning, 6th October at 10am.Station envelopes will be distributed to all the homes in the area in the coming week. We make every effort to ensure that every household receives an envelope. However, do not worry if you don’t receive one, we have a supply at the back of the Churches. Our sincere gratitude to all those in your community who help with the distribution of these envelopes.
Holy hour on every Wednesday and Friday from 3pm to 4pm in the Sacred Heart Church, Glounthaune.
Meals on Wheels has continued its service throughout the pandemic – in fact not one day of service was missed. Meals were catered throughout this time. We are delighted that we will be back in the meals and wheels kitchen in October. We are looking for volunteers to help with cooking and delivery of meals.
